What does an auction driver do?

A typical day as an Auction Driver involves moving vehicles to and from designated locations within the auction lot, performing basic inspections for damage or mechanical issues, and ensuring that vehicles are properly parked and presented for auction. Drivers often work closely with other drivers, lot attendants, and auction coordinators to keep operations running smoothly, especially during busy auction days. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential, as you may be handling a variety of makes and models. This role is well-suited for those who enjoy a dynamic, fast-paced environment working both independently and as part of a team.
