Cleaner/Detailer/Warehouse Coordinator
Michigan City, IN • Warehouse
Are you looking for an entry-level position with potential for advancement if you work hard and are willing to learn? Would you like to learn new skills like driving a forklift?
CrankyApe.com is an online auction house and we are HIRING for a Cleaner/Warehouse Coordinator at our Michigan City, IN location. This position will start out cleaning out vehicles, campers, and power sport units, washing them and getting them ready to go on auction.

Essential Functions:
• Cleaning and prepping motorhomes, watercraft, vehicles, and powersports for auctions.
• Wash and clean interiors amp; exteriors of vehicles, boats, campers, trailers and other powersports.
• Cleans all trash, debris, and dirt from the interior of the vehicle.
• Bag up any personal items left in vehicles.
• Cleans all dirt, grease, and tar from the exterior of the vehicle.
• Uses air compressors and special equipment to dry the inside and outside surfaces.
• Move merchandise/units around warehouse yard, as directed.
• Help customers load and unload units with forklift or by hand.
• Performing other related duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements:
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to tow/pull/move vehicles around
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs occasionally
• Must be dependable and show up for work on time
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
• Forklift experience preferred but willing to train
• Customer service experience
• Knowledge of recreational equipment and a mechanical aptitude
• Must be detail oriented and willing to learn
Hours of Operation:
· Full-time
· Monday through Friday from 8:30AM to 5:00PM, Rotating Saturdays from 9:00 AM to Noon.
· Occasional overtime as needed
