General Surgery Locums Job in Oregon Clinic + 24-Hour Call Beginning July 1 - Ongoing Assignment

Shift Description
Monday Friday clinic, 8:00am 5:00pm
24-hour call while on assignment (5:30am 5:30am)
7 10 day block scheduling available for up to one year
Weekly schedule includes clinic, OR blocks, and 24/7 call
Weekend coverage is 24-hour call
Average callback hours: 7.8 (weekday), 6.7 (weekend)

Assignment Details
Reason for coverage: Retirement
Providers must function as full-time staff
Setting: Acute care + clinic
Support: Full hospital staff + clinic RN/MAs
Must respond to traumas in ED
Trauma activations include: falls, MVCs, motorcycle accidents, stabbings, crush injuries, GSW, assaults, ATV incidents
Approx. 500 surgeries annually ( 10/week); 75% outpatient
2 inpatient admissions per week
Clinic volume: patients/day
EMR: Meditech (hospital), eCW (clinic)
