Attendance Secretary
Education and/or Experience:









  1. High School Diploma
  2. Completed courses in typing, office practices machines, filing, and office management, ability to use computers and a variety of computer software.
  3. ย 

Preferred applicants should:

  1. Possess the ability to work effectively with students, parents, teachers, and community and maintain a positive disposition.
  2. Must have good written and oral communication skills, effectively communicate with all stake holders, be able to read, comprehend what is read, possess basic mathematical skills, and have good reasoning and problem solving skills.
  3. Familiar with Microsoft Office software and learning other software programs independently.
  4. Previous work experience as a school secretary or Attendance Secretary.
  5. Willingness to self-train and learn the job independently with minimal guidance.

Job Requirements:

  1. Full time position working 8 hours daily excluding lunch. 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
  2. Work 217 days August June according to school calendar.
  3. Perform all duties and responsibilities outlined in the Job Description.
  4. Willing to be flexible and help when needed in other departments.
  5. Answer calls
  6. Keep track of all absences and tardies.ย
