PositionOverview

AsaTrafficControlSupervisor,youwillberesponsibleforthesafeandeffectivesetup,maintenance,andtakedownofworkzonesinaccordancewiththeVirginiaWorkAreaProtectionManual(VWAPM)andclientspecifications.Youwillsuperviseacrewinthefield,coordinatejobreadiness,maintainaccuratereports,andensuretheworkzoneprotectsbothworkersandthetravelingpublic.

Qualifications

Required:

  • MusthaveValidVirginiaDriver’sLicense

  • Musthavestrongunderstandingofbasictrafficcontrolprinciplesandsafetyprocedures
  • Musthaveexperiencedrivinglargertrucks(18’–24’)—(CDLnotrequired)
