The work environment at Atrium Physical Therapy is dynamic and supportive, located in the vibrant community of West Palm Beach. Our outpatient office is designed to facilitate collaborative care among healthcare professionals, including physicians, rehabilitation assistants, and fellow therapists. This onsite position entails a structured schedule of 40 hours a week, including some variable weekends, allowing for a well-balanced work-life integration.

The Physical Therapist will be entrusted with a host of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients with functional limitations and disabilities to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Interacting professionally with patients from diverse backgrounds, ensuring a respectful and supportive environment that adheres to our high standards of customer service.
• Implementing treatment plans, re-evaluating patient progress, and making necessary adjustments to optimize rehabilitation outcomes.
• Collaborating with healthcare providers to discuss and ensure continuity of care for patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Maintaining organized documentation of treatment and progress notes, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and best practices in healthcare documentation.
• Participating in leadership and community outreach activities that promote program development and patient engagement.
• Supervising support staff and providing mentorship to physical therapy assistants and interns, cultivating their professional growth and skill development.

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other conditions affecting mobility. Each treatment plan will be customized, focusing on enhancing each patient's physical abilities and overall well-being. You will play a crucial role in helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life through targeted therapy sessions and education on self-management strategies.

Successful candidates will meet the following criteria:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic proficiency in word processing and electronic health record systems.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.

We are looking for candidates with at least two years of experience in a similar outpatient clinical setting. Experience working with orthopedic patients is highly desirable, as it aligns with our patient population’s needs and treatment objectives.
