This counseling position is entirely remote, offering the flexibility and comfort of working from home while engaging with clients through teletherapy. • Conduct comprehensive assessments to fully understand clients’ backgrounds, mental health issues, and treatment goals.
• Efficiently develop personalized treatment plans that are evidence-based and customized to address client needs and aspirations.
• Deliver individual therapy sessions utilizing various therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, or mindfulness techniques.
• Establish and regularly revise therapeutic goals, while monitoring client progress to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all clinical interactions, adhering to ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities, including workshops and seminars, to enhance your therapeutic skills and knowledge.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Atrium Counseling Services, you will primarily work with a diverse clientele experiencing various mental health challenges, including trauma, anxiety disorders, depression, and relationship issues. Our approach emphasizes creating a safe space where clients feel valued and understood, empowering them to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in depth. You will have the flexibility to work with individuals across different age groups and backgrounds, each with unique circumstances and therapeutic needs.

• Current and valid state license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW.
• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that promote a positive therapeutic rapport with clients.
• Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude are essential.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities to effectively manage caseload and schedule.

While all licensed therapists are encouraged to apply, we prefer candidates with experience in community mental health settings and familiarity with teletherapy practices. Experience in working with specific populations, such as adolescents or minority groups, is an asset. Knowledge of trauma-informed care and cultural competency will also be beneficial in enhancing the delivery of effective services.
