Job description

Field Sales Representative

Own a territory. Build a market. Win new business.

GardaWorld Cash Services is seeking a driven Field Sales Representative to expand our presence with local and regional commercial customers. This field-based new-business development role is designed for a true sales hunterโ€”someone energized by opening doors, building relationships, creating opportunities, and closing profitable business.

You will develop your assigned territory through face-to-face prospecting, consultative selling, networking, referrals, and targeted outreach. By understanding how prospective customers manage cash today, you will recommend GardaWorld solutions that improve security, visibility, efficiency, and control.

This is not an account-management or primarily desk-based sales position. Success requires a consistent presence in the market, disciplined pipeline development, and the resilience to turn initial conversations into long-term customer partnerships.

Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 base salary plus commission.

Travel: Significant local and regional travel based on territory size, customer needs, and business requirements. Regular face-to-face prospecting and customer meetings are essential. Limited overnight travel may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a new-business sales strategy for an assigned geographic territory.

  • Identify high-potential prospects, industries, and commercial areas within the market.

  • Build a qualified sales pipeline through in-person prospecting, telephone outreach, referrals, networking, and other lead-generation activities.

  • Establish relationships with decision-makers at local, regional, and multi-location businesses.

  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand prospective customersโ€™ cash-handling practices, operational challenges, and business priorities.

  • Present GardaWorld Cash Services capabilities, including secure cash transportation, deposit solutions, cash automation, cash recycling, cash-management services, cash information and reporting solutions, ClearValue, and other evolving solutions.

  • Recommend solutions that align with each customerโ€™s operational and commercial requirements.

  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.

  • Partner with Operations, Pricing, Finance, Legal, Implementation, and Sales leadership to develop solutions that can be successfully delivered.

  • Participate in pricing and contract discussions and negotiate within established approval requirements.

  • Advance qualified opportunities through the full sales cycle and close profitable new business.

  • Maintain ownership of new opportunities through contract execution and support a successful transition to implementation.

  • Maintain accurate and timely prospecting, pipeline, and sales activity information in applicable systems.

  • Monitor market conditions, customer needs, competitive activity, and emerging growth opportunities.

  • Provide leadership with actionable feedback regarding territory potential and market trends.

  • Meet or exceed individual objectives for prospecting, customer meetings, qualified opportunities, pipeline growth, proposals, new-customer acquisition, revenue, profitability, and territory penetration.

  • Operate as a collaborative member of a high-performance sales organization built on accountability, communication, positive energy, and execution.

Skills/Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree or an equivalent combination of relevant education and professional experience.

  • Demonstrated success in B2B sales, outside sales, territory sales, or new-business development.

  • Proven ability to independently generate leads, build a qualified pipeline, and close new customers.

  • Strong consultative-selling, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Confidence initiating conversations with prospective customers through face-to-face and telephone outreach.

  • Ability to understand customer business needs and translate them into practical solutions.

  • Strong territory-planning, organizational, and pipeline-management capabilities.

  • Self-motivated, resilient, competitive, and comfortable operating with a high degree of independence.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Operations, Pricing, Finance, Legal, and Implementation.

  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and standard business technology.

  • Valid driverโ€™s license and the ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory.

Experience in cash management, payments, merchant services, financial services, commercial banking, treasury services, ATM technology, cash automation, secure logistics, route-based commercial services, retail technology, business services, security services, or another complex B2B service environment is preferred.

Direct cash-in-transit or armored transportation experience is not required. We are looking for candidates with a demonstrated ability to enter a market, develop relationships, create pipeline, and win new business.
