Job description


The Operations Specialist is responsible for coordinating the functions of, and facilitating open communication between the various parties involved in the management of United Bank's Digital Self-Service channel (ATMs/ITMs), including, but not necessarily limited to, retail offices, service providers, cash couriers, transaction processors, network operations, terminal drivers, hardware/software managers, network infrastructure, and other internal departments. This position strives to meet the department goals of minimizing terminal outage events and reducing customer impacts when these events occur. Assists department management with different projects and tasks to help improve the overall efficiency of the Electronic Banking department.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
โ€ข Monitor vendor service schedules for self-service devices throughout the United Bank footprint. With direction, assist with coordination of services where services or schedule need to be changed
โ€ข Manage cash fulfillment, deposit pick-ups (DPUs), residual balancing, emergency cash (E-Cash) and cash courier scheduling.
โ€ข Confirm vendor services and verify invoicing for service partners. Escalate identified inconsistencies to management.
โ€ข Communicate service needs with retail office staff to actively troubleshoot device outages; work with staff to remediate outages where possible and promptly facilitate service calls when necessary.
โ€ข Assist in the consolidation and preparation of data relating to the core goals of digital self-service management (minimize downtime, maximize transactions). Assist in data analysis and research data trends with direction.
โ€ข Provide support, as needed, to the alternate roles/responsibilities within Electronic Banking and other bank departments. Utilize knowledge of products and solutions to recommend an approach or solution. Seeks additional management guidance as needed.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
    โ€ข Competent in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, Outlook) required
    โ€ข Ability to communicate orally and in writing effectively required
    โ€ข High level of accuracy and great attention to detail required
    โ€ข Ability to multi-task and meet required deadlines
    โ€ข Ability to comprehend and interpret Bank policies and procedures, and Banking regulations required.
