Position Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Atlassian Software Tools Expert to manage, configure, and optimize our Atlassian suite, including Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, and Crowd. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining system reliability, developing integrations, supporting users, and driving best practices across the organization's project management and collaboration platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Administration & Configuration of Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Crowd).
Design, implement, and maintain workflows, schemes, fields, dashboards, and permissions in Jira and Confluence.
Manage user provisioning, authentication, and access control through Crowd and integrated systems.
Integrate Atlassian tools with other enterprise applications (e.g., Slack, Git, Jenkins, ServiceNow).
Develop and maintain custom scripts and automation to improve team efficiency (using Groovy, Python, or REST APIs).
Oversee system upgrades, backups, and performance tuning to ensure platform stability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Development, DevOps, QA, and IT) to support agile and CI/CD workflows.
Provide technical documentation, training, and user support for Atlassian products.
Recommend and implement best practices, plugins, and add-ons to enhance productivity.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of hands-on experience administering and supporting Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Crowd).
Strong understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., Groovy, Bash, Python, REST APIs).
Familiarity with server, data center, and cloud deployments of Atlassian products.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
Atlassian certifications (e.g., ACP-120, ACP-420, ACP-620) are a strong plus.
