Job Overview:

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Proven hands-on experience architecting and deploying Jira Cloud applications using Atlassian Forge.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
  • Deep experience with React (Custom UI) or Forge UI Kit.
  • Strong understanding of Jira Cloud configuration including issue types, screens, field contexts, workflow schemes, and permissions.
  • Strong experience with Jira Cloud REST APIs and Forge platform capabilities.
  • Experience with Forge authentication, event handling, asynchronous processing, and scalable API design.
  • Ability to design, implement, test, and maintain reusable and high-performing code solutions.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Experience:

  • Experience designing and developing Jira Cloud applications using the Atlassian Forge framework.
  • Experience implementing Forge modules, including Custom UI components, Global Pages, Gadgets, Panels, Custom Fields, Validators, and Workflow Extensions.
  • Experience working with Forge Storage, Custom Fetch, Web Triggers, Resolvers, Queues, and Event-Driven Functions.
  • Experience integrating Jira Cloud with external SaaS platforms and internal systems using REST APIs.
  • Experience implementing custom business logic, workflow rules, and validation mechanisms.
  • Experience providing technical support, performance tuning, and troubleshooting for Jira Cloud applications.
  • Experience documenting technical designs, deployment procedures, and testing plans.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git version control, and modern deployment practices preferred.
  • Experience with Groovy/ScriptRunner or Power Scripts/SIL in Jira Server/Data Center environments is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Jira Expressions and SQL is preferred.
