Your role
Job Duties:
Atlas Copco Compressors LLC seeks Product Marketing Manager at our Rock Hill, SC location. Responsible for developing innovative and value-added strategies to market Atlas Copco oil-free air compressor products and technologies to differentiate Atlas Copco from its competitors in order to optimize profits and meet growth objectives. Develop product marketing tools and applications strategy for the Atlas Copco air compressor products and technologies sales force to grow Atlas Copco's compressed air market share. Provide technical drawings, technical datasheets, calculations, market analysis, pricing strategy, content creation, and marketing plans to position Atlas Copco air compressor products and systems in the correct target market and support sales activities. Provide training for the sales team to understand the solutions that these products offer to our specialized and unique customer base, and the applications of those products for target customers and market segments. Develop a plan to introduce and market new products and applications, and coordinate strategies for market development. Train, coach, and mentor the sales, business development, and key segment teams to understand the value proposition of new products and applications - as well as the product's applications and benefits to target markets and target customers from a technical and commercial perspective. Analyze the market and competitors in terms of market trends, mapping in the plant, price, and distribution. Prepare material to support marketing - such as datasheets, PowerPoint presentations, leaflets, calculator tools, etc. Provide support for new product launches from a technical and commercial perspective, including market and application requirements. Provide technical product information for new product launches including datasheets, brochures, presentations, videos, press releases, and website content. Support sales team with product materials including product information and benchmarking data. Organize plans to inform our customers in the target markets of the latest technology in Atlas Copco air compressor products and systems and recommend to customers the best use of these developments.
To succeed, you will need
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, related Engineering disciplines, or a related field and five (5) years of related experience required.
Up to 15% domestic travel required.
Local telecommuting permitted two days per week.

Work Experience:
Three (3) years of experience must include: Air compressor products and technologies, including high pressure Oil-free air and gas industrial compressors; Sales and marketing of technical, industrial equipment, including compressed air equipment; Assessing the performance of air compressor products and technologies; Evaluating the suitability of products and technologies for the client's needs; Determining the reliability of the fully completed system; Conducting detailed market analysis on specific high-pressure air and gas compression focus segments; Preparing marketing campaigns to promote the sales of high pressure air and gas compressors within a national territory; Preparing and conducting training sessions on products dedicated to air and gas compression to a sales audience; Organizing and curating technical and commercial documents and other resources in order to support a sales team activities; Following sales and market trends with the goal of determining product strategies within the compressor market.
