Job description

Manages delivery of items to customers providing accurate documentation by performing the following duties.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensures inventory accuracy for products closing to stock or shipments leaving the facility.
  • Creates packing slips with supporting documentation for all product shipping to the customer.
  • Prioritizes daily production orders systematically and assists with product flow based on customer delivery dates.
  • Creates accurate manifests, ASN's, and other shipping documents.
  • Compares contents of packaged material to manifests and shipping documents accurately.
  • Communicates with other departments regarding special shipping needs, tracking numbers, delayed shipments, etc.
  • Performs accurate shipments in courier specific websites, such as UPS, Fed Ex, LTL freight services, etc.
  • Solves problems.
  • Identifies, documents, and pulls the proper inventory number and batch number from its location using FIFO.
  • Recognizes damage material in stock and relays information to the quality department.
  • Responds to inventory inquires such as locating, showing, and pulling items from stock.
  • Navigates a fast paced environment with extreme accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Responsible for the quality of their work and implementation of the quality policy.
  • Ensures that document and digital data control is in compliance with AS9100 guidelines.
