Job description

Job Description:
The Regional Operations Director (ROD) is a senior-level leader responsible for directly managing a region of Main Event centers. Through their leadership, the ROD fosters a "One Team, One Partnership" culture to achieve district goals and contribute to the overall success of the Company. The ROD ensures that centers operate safely and efficiently while creating an exceptional guest experience. The ROD ensures that each center embodies our values and that we are positioned for future growth by driving the business and by coaching and developing strong teams. This position will report directly to the Sr. Regional Director of Operations.
Applicant must be willing to relocate to Florida or Atlanta, GA.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provides strategic direction for the General Manager team to ensure company initiatives, directives and performance goals are achieved.
  • Achieves sales and revenue goals by implementing appropriate action plans and tactics, monitoring results and taking corrective action.
  • Ensures their teams maintain a mindset of continuous improvement and helps identify ways to continue to grow and improve.
  • Studies the business and makes changes and improvements to enhance P&L performance.
  • Ensures effective action plans are in place to enhance financial performance, performance management, and operating standards.
  • Ensures the store-level Operations, Sales and Tech teams' partner closely and are aligned to achieve organizational goals (One Team, One Partnership).
  • Provides ongoing coaching and development to ensure that all levels of management are developing skills and capability.
  • Effectively prioritizes responsibilities and escalates concerns when appropriate.
  • Consistently acts with a sense of urgency while balancing the needs of the business and the team member.
  • Consistent and fair in treatment and handling of team member matters and policy concerns.
  • Partners with regional and cross-functional support teams to drive strategic brand initiatives and standards.
  • Collaborates and partners with various Support Center functions including Legal, IT, Finance, Marketing, and Human Resources.
  • As assigned, participates in company initiative planning and strategic projects.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Ability to effectively communicate, both verbal and written
  • Ability to remain organized, prioritize tasks, and work well under pressure
  • Skilled at coaching, developing and motivating others
  • Ability to collaborate and influence at multiple levels and cross-functionally
  • Strong working knowledge financial statements and business reporting
  • Strong critical thinking ability; ability to manage through complex business/operational challenges
  • Demonstrated success in the development and execution of training systems
  • Proven track record of building sales, developing teams and increasing profitability
  • Demonstrates a high level of professional maturity.
  • Can be relied on to make sound decisions and to act with a high level of integrity and honesty.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum of 10 years in the hospitality, restaurant, and/or family entertainment industry with a demonstrated record of performance and progressive career growth
  • High school diploma or GED is required; a college degree in Business Management, Restaurant Management, or another related field is preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft 365 Experience - Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook
  • Commitment to a world class Guest and Team Member Experience
  • Completing other projects, duties, or tasks, as assigned
  • Ability to travel approximately 75% of the time
  • Position is remotely based in the Carolinas
  • Applicant must be a high performer and have approval from their ROD before applying
  • Applicant must be willing to relocate to Florida or Atlanta.
