We are looking for friendly, outgoing individuals to join our team as Athletics Retail Sales Associates at our Bozeman, MT store. As a member of the Bob Ward's team, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming and positive shopping experience for every customer.
At Bob Ward's, we carry top-tier athletic gear for everyone-from little league sluggers to seasoned Pickleball pros. Working with the top brands in the industry, the ideal candidate is well-experienced and eager to share their knowledge and passion to help customers find the gear they need.
We're seeking candidates who are passionate about sports and active lifestyles, and who are committed to delivering excellent customer service. In addition to working with the top brands in the industry, you'll have access to employee-only discounts and exclusive vendor deals!
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a positive customer experience through fair, friendly, and courteous service.
  • Greet and assist customers in an engaging and helpful manner.
  • Offer knowledgeable recommendations based on customers' athletic needs.
  • Become familiar with merchandise to provide accurate and efficient product information.
  • Locate items and help customers find the gear they're looking for.
  • Resolve customer questions or concerns with professionalism and care.
  • Accurately communicate pricing, promotions, and sale details.
  • Operate the register and process transactions efficiently and correctly.

Qualifications
Required
  • Flexible availability with the ability to work all mandatory sales events, including evenings and weekends.
  • Comfortable approaching customers and initiating conversations.
  • Strong interest or background in sports, fitness, or athletic gear.
  • Experience participating in or supporting team sports (such as baseball, basketball, softball, soccer, or lacrosse) is preferred.

Weekend and holiday availability is required, and shifts may vary within the general timeframe of 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
