Athletic equipment managers work with high school or college sport teams to maintain a variety of equipment. As an athletic equipment manager, you are in charge of maintaining equipment such as balls, bats, helmets, uniforms, and more, depending on what sport team you work with and the exact structure of the department. As part of the job, you help players with safety equipment and work to ensure that their personal equipment fits properly. You’re also in charge of ensuring all the equipment is in safe repair.
