Job Description Program Management:o Oversee the development and implementation of athletic programs, including team sports and gym activities, across all Clubs.
o Ensure that all programs meet the organization's standards for safety, quality, and inclusivity.
o Develop and manage schedules, ensuring that all sports seasons and events are well-organized and efficiently run.
o Evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
Staff Training and Development:o Lead the onboarding process for new athletic staff, ensuring they receive comprehensive training and support.
o Organize and conduct regular training sessions for coaches and staff, including clinics before each sports season.
o Conduct regular check-ins and evaluations to ensure staff are effectively managing their programs.
Strategic Planning and Growth:o Research and apply for grants to support athletic programming and explore revenue-generating opportunities.
o Develop and implement strategies to ensure all Clubs, are fully engaged and committed to the sports leagues they participate in.
Community and Member Engagement:o Work with Club staff to promote athletic programs within the Club and drive member recruitment through sports.
o Analyze registration and participation data to collaborate with Clubs, using athletics to boost frequent attendance and developing strategies to engage members in a variety of Club activities.
o Foster relationships with parents, volunteers, and community partners to support and enhance athletic programs.
o Create and implement initiatives that promote a sense of belonging, teamwork, and leadership among youth through sports.
Administration and Reporting:o Track and report on key metrics, such as participation rates, program outcomes, and member feedback, to assess the impact of athletic programs.
o Maintain accurate records, including participant registration, schedules, and outcomes, ensuring compliance with all organizational policies.
Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Recreation, Education, or a related field, or relevant experience.
- 2+ years of experience in athletic program management, recreation, youth development, or related program leadership.
Preferred Qualifications- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including staff, parents, and community partners.
- Knowledge of youth development principles and experience working with children and adolescents.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Working Conditions:- This position will require evening and weekend hours to oversee sports events and programs.
- Hours: School Year: 12:00 p.m.-8:30 p.m. Summer: 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Typical schedule Monday - Saturday.
- Travel between different Club locations within the Metro Denver area is required.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
RequirementsMinimum Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Recreation, Education, or a related field, or relevant experience.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sports program management, preferably in a youth-serving organization.
-Strong English proficiency is required for this position to ensure effective communications with staff, Club members, and families, as well as to follow safety and procedural guidelines accurately.
