We are currently seeking to hire a Sales Manager to join our growing trailer dealership! We are a premier Georgia utility and equipment trailer dealership and servicer selling brands such as DiamondC, ATC, Aluma, Covered Wagon and Futura. This role will eventually entail overseeing and developing a sales team to drive company revenue with good future opportunities for growth as the company expands.
We are a low-pressure sales culture with strong customer loyalty and so relationship skills are crucial. Team members will enjoy the 'grab an oar' mentality - doing what needs to be done regardless of position. This role will be eligible for sales based bonuses.
Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate the sales team activities
  • Work with manufacturers to place purchase orders and re-order new trailer loads
  • Organize the yard from trailer delivery, assembly when needed and placement
  • Grow knowledge of trailers and typical equipment uses with a broad industry understanding of the competitive landscape
  • Build and form relationships with potential clients including landscapers, construction companies and local government
  • Administration involving loading trailers on the website and the dealer management system, preparing and sending quotes, processing customer paperwork and assisting in any 3rd party financing processes
  • The role is active and will entail moving and unloading trailers on delivery days, hooking up trailers with customers at the time of sale, fitting spare tires and wheels and working with other location sales and service
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or related field (equipment sales a plus)
  • Good negotiation skills with experience of working with a wide range of customers
  • IT skills (POS, MS Office / 365, email and inventory management)
  • Fast learner if not coming from trailer industry
  • Strong leadership qualities with ability to work well with others
  • Ability / desire to drive a tractor and forklift
  • Ability to build rapport with wide range of clients
  • Spanish speaking a plus
  • High school diploma minimum but college education a plus
