Job description

Advanced Thermal Corporation (ATC), a wholly owned subsidiary of The Brock Group, designs and manufactures engineered removable insulation systems for critical industrial applications. For more than 40 years, ATC has delivered innovative thermal and acoustic insulation solutions to customers across power generation, industrial manufacturing, petrochemical, military, and other demanding sectors.
ATC is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager, OEM & Power Generation to drive strategic growth across North America. This role is ideal for a highly connected industry professional who has spent years building trusted relationships throughout the power generation market and understands how to navigate complex sales cycles within OEM and critical infrastructure environments.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will leverage your industry network, market knowledge, and business development expertise to identify new opportunities, strengthen strategic partnerships, and expand ATC's presence within the OEM and power generation sectors.
What You Will Do
  • Develop and execute business development strategies focused on OEM and power generation markets across North America.
  • Leverage your industry relationships and network to identify and secure new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders throughout the power generation ecosystem.
  • Expand ATC's presence within power generation, distributed energy, critical infrastructure, and related industrial markets.
  • Engage with engineering, procurement, operations, and executive leadership teams to identify opportunities and drive business growth.
  • Identify emerging market trends, customer needs, and industry developments to support long-term growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with ATC's engineering and operations teams to develop tailored customer solutions.
  • Represent ATC at industry conferences, trade shows, and customer events.
  • Maintain business development activities, pipeline management, and forecasting through CRM tools and reporting systems.
  • Achieve revenue growth objectives through strategic account development and new customer acquisition.

What You Bring
  • Proven business development or sales success within the power generation industry.
  • An established network of relationships across the power generation and distributed energy ecosystem.
  • Strong understanding of the power generation market, critical power infrastructure, and emerging energy technologies.
  • Deep familiarity with the power generation value chain, including OEMs, manufacturers, channel partners, engineering firms, and end users.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop business through strategic relationship-building and consultative selling.
  • Proven success identifying, developing, and closing complex opportunities with industrial and commercial customers.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated professional capable of working independently in a remote environment.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent industry experience.
