As the Appian Developer on this effort, you'll design and build the enterprise applications that keep mission-critical business processes and stakeholder relationships running. This is a hands-on role for a problem-solver. You'll integrate Appian with the systems around it using web services, FTP, JMS, and other web technologies, keep a close eye on the user experience so the tools you deliver are genuinely easy to use, and collaborate day to day with an Agile team. If you've spent years building enterprise applications in a Business Process Management (BPM) environment and take pride in shipping software that works, we'd like to hear from you.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • May work on any customer relationship management or low code tool supported within the program environment.
  • Familiarity with web services, FTP, Java Messaging System (JMS), and other web integration technologies. Background in user experience, UI design, or Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI).

  • Appian Certified Lead Developer certification or comparable.
  • Master's degree can be substituted as 4 years of experience.
  • 10 years of related experience.
  • Three+ years of experience in successful software delivery or software development using Appian technologies and tools or comparable.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Familiarity with software delivery methodologies such as agile/scrum.
  • Prior software or platform experience, ideally in a Business Process Management (BPM) related setting.
  • Experience with functional design, configuration, deployment, and testing of enterprise software applications.
  • Strong background in relational database design and SQL.
  • Strong problem solving and design skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Working knowledge in application servers, web servers, operating systems, and web application architectural concepts.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • This position requires an active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance to be considered.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
