LAZ has been the parking services vendor for The Atlanta Braves and Braves Development company since 2017 and provide the services below for their 8 Parking Decks, 11 surface lots, and 15 Third Party decks/lots totaling over 15,000 parking spaces!

The Spirit of the Position:

Our Assistant Director of Parking Services must be a highly motivated self-starter, capable of leading as many as 200 management, supervisory, maintenance, valet, and attendant employees at any time throughout the year. The Assistant Director of Parking Services supports the Director of Parking Services with a complete oversight of the daily operations of the department, provides leadership, and direction for the hourly associates in the most efficient and effective manner possible, while maintaining the companys expected high-quality standards. They will address customer service needs, perform safety inspections, and train employees to service the parking and shuttle needs for The Battery Atlanta and The Atlanta Braves. The Atlanta Braves prefers someone who is seasoned in large event management, working throughout large organizations such as the Braves, managing the many needs of all stakeholders internal and external.

Principal Job Duties:

  • Handle Tenant relations throughout the property.
  • Responsible for developing client relationships and business retention.
  • Lead, direct, and develop a team of employees to accomplish annual and periodic goals/initiatives, while embodying and using LAZ Parkings culture as a guideline.
  • Identifying high potential employees to support the organizations continued growth.
  • Organize and narrate parking management skills for Supervisors and hourly staff.
  • Understand, implement, and deliver all requirements that are outlined within the contractual agreement between LAZ Parking and our clients.
  • Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Annual financial and operational reports as required.
  • Managing, planning, scheduling, training, and directing the activities of Supervisors and Hourly staff.
  • Work with vendors such as shuttles to ensure we are getting the best rate, and they are scheduled appropriately.
  • Organize and manage the oversight of event operations within LAZ Parking.
  • Monitor, review, and analyze the market rate structures.
  • Implementation and completion of other projects, programs, and initiatives that may arise.
  • Ensure all AP accounts are invoiced and paid promptly according to company guidelines.
  • Build our Never Ever Give Up culture.
  • Ensure compliance with loss prevention, claim reporting, quality assurance, labor laws and standard operating procedures.

Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.

Experience:

  • 5+ years in Management role.
  • Operations experience required.
  • The Atlanta Braves prefers someone who is seasoned in large event management, working throughout large organizations such as the Braves, managing the many needs of all stakeholders internal and external.
  • P&L experience.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point and General Microsoft Office Applications.
