The AT&T FirstNet product development organization delivers mission-critical wireless communications capabilities tailored to the unique needs of public safety agencies and first responders. Built in partnership with the First Responder Network Authority, FirstNet is the only nationwide, high-speed broadband network dedicated to public safety. It provides prioritized and preemptive access, enhanced security, and resilient connectivity across LTE and 5G technologies. FirstNet empowers public safety with interoperable, reliable, and secure wireless communications-enabling faster coordination, improved situational awareness, and better outcomes during both routine operations and large-scale emergencies.
The FirstNet Product team is seeking a dynamic individual to help drive the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of FirstNet products, platforms, and customer experiences. This role supports mission-critical wireless solutions for public safety. It will partner across product, technology, operations, sales, marketing, and support teams to translate customer needs into clear business and technical requirements. The ideal candidate will bring strong product management discipline, go-to-market understanding, and the ability to contribute to complex cross-functional initiatives. These initiatives will help grow FirstNet adoption, simplify the customer experience, and enable reliable, secure, and innovative solutions for first responders and public safety agencies.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Lead product strategy and execution for assigned FirstNet solutions that support public safety, first responders, and mission-critical operations.
  • Translate public safety use cases, customer needs, market feedback, and operational requirements into clear product roadmaps, business requirements, and delivery priorities.
  • Assess market potential, customer value, and growth opportunities to support business cases, product investment decisions, and long-term roadmap planning.
  • Partner across product, technology, network, operations, sales, marketing, pricing, legal, and support teams to launch and improve FirstNet products, offers, and customer experiences.
  • Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, including concept development, requirements definition, pricing and offer support, launch readiness, adoption tracking, and ongoing optimization.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer and subject matter expert for FirstNet capabilities, public safety use cases, customer experience, ordering, billing, and operational processes.
  • Identify product gaps, process improvements, and enablement needs that simplify execution, improve customer value, and support FirstNet adoption.
  • Develop clear recommendations, stakeholder updates, and executive-ready materials to support decisions, alignment, and successful go-to-market execution.

Required Qualifications:
  • Demonstrates strategic autonomy in understanding the customer use cases and user personas, and translates this into validated product development ideas.
  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) desired. 5+ years of related experience
  • Proven track record of being a productive member of complex, cross-functional product initiatives.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and product lifecycle tools, and enterprise governance processes.
  • Ability to identify strategic growth opportunities.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of AT&T Mobility, IT and ordering and billing systems.
  • Knowledge of FirstNet
  • Understanding of the public safety user

Our Lead Product Management and Developments earn between:
$128,400 - $192,600 (Alpharetta and Atlanta)
$143,800 - $215,800 (Chantilly and Dallas)
