Job description

Financial Analyst
The Opportunity:
The right mixture of great ideas and funding can create change. In a complex organization, allocating funding to where it can be most effective can be challenging. That's why we need you, a financial analyst who can easily navigate the requirements, policies, and regulations that govern funding to make sure the Air Force's resources can make the most impact.
As a Financial Analyst on our team, you'll execute and refine the financial management strategy that supports the client's ongoing programs and initiatives. You'll work closely with project management, schedulers, task leads, and stakeholders to deliver accurate budget execution, data analytics, spend plan management, and actionable insights that enable effective financial decision-making.
Using your knowledge of processes, regulations, and policies, you'll research and validate financial data, identify discrepancies, analyze execution and manpower trends, and ensure all daily processes comply with DoD financial management regulations. You'll maintain organized records and a comprehensive file plan to support audit readiness. Once the funding is in place, you'll help ensure it is executed efficiently through consistent tracking and communication with mission partners and program leadership. This is your chance to work on high-level operational and financial priorities while applying your financial analysis expertise to support the client's mission.

  • Ability to establish and maintain records management systems and file plans to support audit readiness
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience with financial analysis, OR Master's degree and 3+ years of experience with financial analysis, OR 8+ years of experience with financial analysis in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience supporting logistics, supply chain, or manpower financial reporting
  • Knowledge of DoD Financial Management Regulations (FMR), MILCON processes, or Agile Combat Employment (ACE) initiatives
  • Ability to present financial products to stakeholders and contribute technical insights to mission-driven decision-making
