The Position

Roche is seeking a strategic and collaborative ERP Product Lifecycle Management Business Partner to join the Informatics ERP Team at Roche. In this role, you will partner closely with business stakeholders across Roche Diagnostics and Roche Diabetes Care to drive digital transformation initiatives spanning Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) capabilities.

The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor between business functions and Informatics teams, ensuring that enterprise solutions align with operational, regulatory, product development, and manufacturing objectives across the Diagnostics discipline and Diabetes Care portfolio.

The Opportunity:

This role requires strong cross-functional engagement, business process expertise, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technology solutions.

Business Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Serve as the primary Informatics business partner for ERP and PLM initiatives within Roche Diagnostics and Roche Diabetes Care.

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, Commercial, and Operations teams.

  • Facilitate alignment between business strategy and enterprise technology roadmaps.

  • Drive effective communication between business users, solution architects, vendors, and delivery teams.

ERP & PLM Strategy and Delivery
  • Lead and support ERP and PLM transformation initiatives across Diagnostics and Diabetes Care.

  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, harmonization, and digital innovation.

  • Translate business requirements into functional and technical solution designs.

  • Support implementation, enhancement, integration, and lifecycle management of ERP and PLM platforms.

  • Participate in global PLM initiatives and projects, ensuring consistency and scalability of solutions across Roche divisions.

  • Provide support for system testing, validation, and compliance in accordance with regulated industry standards (e.g., GxP).

  • Troubleshoot issues, provide end-user support, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

  • Collaborate with enterprise architecture and data governance teams to ensure scalable and compliant solutions.

Diagnostics & Diabetes Care Support
  • Partner with Roche Diagnostics business units to support product development, manufacturing, and quality processes.

  • Support Roche Diabetes Care initiatives involving connected devices, product traceability, regulatory compliance, and lifecycle management.

  • Ensure systems and processes support global healthcare and medical device regulations.

Governance & Compliance
  • Ensure ERP and PLM solutions comply with Roche quality standards, cybersecurity policies, and regulatory requirements.

  • Support validation activities and documentation in regulated environments.

  • Participate in governance boards, release planning, and portfolio prioritization activities.

Change Management & Continuous Improvement
  • Support organizational change management activities related to ERP and PLM adoption.

  • Develop and deliver stakeholder engagement and training strategies.

  • Drive continuous improvement through metrics, feedback, and operational excellence practices.

Who you are:Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline.

  • 10+ years of experience in ERP, PLM, or enterprise systems business partnering roles.

  • Strong understanding of ERP platforms such as SAP S/4HANA and PLM ecosystems.

  • Understanding of SAP integration with modules like MM (Materials Management), PP/PI(Production Planning and Execution), PM (Plant Maintenance), QM (Quality Management), and SD (Sales & Distribution).

  • Experience supporting manufacturing, supply chain, product development, or quality processes.

  • Proven ability to work across global, matrixed organizations.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience operating in regulated industries such as healthcare, medical devices, diagnostics, or pharmaceuticals.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within Diagnostics, Medical Devices, or Diabetes Care environments.

  • Knowledge of product lifecycle management processes including design control, change management, BOM management, and product data governance.

  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and product-centric operating models.

  • Experience with system integrations between ERP, PLM, MES, QMS, and related enterprise platforms.

  • Understanding of GxP, FDA, ISO 13485, and other healthcare regulatory frameworks.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indianapolis is between $108,700 - $201,900. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
