Youth Counselor - Overnight
General Objective The Youth Counselor Overnight (YCO) is a full time entry level line
worker position that provides for the general care of at-risk youth during late hours,
sleep hours and early morning for the residents and manages that timeframe of the
treatment milieu and routine within a home. The Youth Counselor Overnight is part of
the backbone of our quality of care and treatment for these youth.
Who are we looking for?
A responsible adult to:
  • Provide a safe, consistent and structured living environment.
  • Serve as a positive role model.
  • Teach important life skills.
  • Perform routine household duties like cleaning, organizing and basic maintenance
  • Support a cooperative and collaborative staff team environment.

What You Need to Get the Job Done:
Applicants must meet our state licensing requirement minimum age of 21 at the time of hire along with these basic qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Experience working with youth in a paid or volunteer setting
  • Ability to be an outgoing team player who can work collaboratively and personably with other staff
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs as needed
  • Ability to climb stairs as needed
