Community Partnerships Program Facilitator $16/hour Girl Scouts of Southeastern New England (GSSNE) seeks highly motivated, responsible, reliable, individuals who have energy, enthusiasm and experience working with children to facilitate programs for girls who meet weekly in school and community center settings. Program facilitators prepare and facilitate fun, hands-on activities for girls to build their self-esteem and leadership skills. Training, program curriculum and materials will be provided by GSSNE.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Attend all program trainings
• Adhere to lesson plans using the materials provided by GSSNE
• Facilitate the program at assigned program sites
• Maintain accurate program records of achievements, updated participate attendance rosters and all other required records
• Communicate clearly with Program Manager regarding plans, activities, and tasks.
• Help build girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place
• Be always responsible for the health and safety of the girls in the group.
• Coordinate and communicate with the program site staff
• Travel to local sites hosting programs at schools, community centers, etc.
• Be responsible for all borrowed program-related supplies and materials.
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma
• 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred
• Experience working with children preferred
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
Required, Specialized, or Technical Knowledge:
• Must have reliable transportation
• Attend GSSNE orientation and training
Schedule:
• Based on availability and program site schedule.Each facilitator will coordinate their schedule with the Program Manager
