Clearance: Active Top Secret (TS) required; U.S. Citizenship required

Job Type: Full-time

Contract Type: Government Contract (Base + 2 Option Years)

Position Overview

We are seeking a ServiceNow Developer to support SWRMC at Naval Base San Diego. The mission is to migrate legacy systems (Oracle APEX) to ServiceNow, expand ITSM capabilities, and build custom applications on the App Engine. This role includes hands-on development and structured knowledge transfer to government personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead migration of legacy web portal applications (Oracle APEX) to ServiceNow with zero operational disruption
  • Perform hands-on development using Flow Designer, REST/SOAP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Mid-Servers
  • Build custom applications on ServiceNow App Engine
  • Configure core ITSM modules and custom workflows
  • Design and implement RBAC and field-level security for PII protection
  • Integrate with Navy IAM protocols (CAC, MFA)
  • Guide and train government system administrators through hands-on knowledge transfer
  • Lead agile Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, demos, retrospectives)
  • Report progress per Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM) schedule
Required Qualifications

Experience: 5+ years IT experience with 3+ years ServiceNow development

Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required

Clearance: Active Top Secret (TS) clearance required

Certifications (Day 1): ServiceNow CSA and CAD

Certifications (Within 90 Days): ServiceNow CIS (ITSM or App Engine)

DOD 8570: Valid IAT-II certification (e.g., Security+ CE)

Technical Skills: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, REST/SOAP, SSO, LDAP, SAML

Navy Experience (Preferred): Past performance in U.S. Navy cloud environments

Schedule & Work Conditions
  • 40 hours per week, standard business hours
  • On-site at Naval Base San Diego, CA
Security Requirements
  • Must obtain SAAR-N / DD Form 2875 approval
  • Execute DON Privileged Access Agreement (PAA)
  • Complete annual Cyber Awareness training
  • Maintain DBIDS/CAC base access
