Job description

Work with uninsured population w/Government programs, i.e., (Medicaid)

in a hospital setting.

Bi-lingual - Spanish a plus

Interview patients to determine linkage to Medicaid at hospital bedside.

Knowledge of Medicaid and Indigent programs

Knowledge of Medicaid application process.

Knowledge of DPSS process as it pertains to submission of Medicaid applications.

Computer literate (Microsoft Office, Epic and/or other hospital computer programs) etc.

1-3 years' experience in the healthcare/hospital setting.

Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and priorities without missing deadlines.

Ability to effectively communicate in a professional and accurate manner with the uninsured,

Internal staff, in all written and verbal communication. (Bilingual) helpful.

Good understanding of hospitals, computer systems in the healthcare industry

Ability to work independently, must have excellent time management skills

Secure third-party applications for all potential linked patients

Responsible for managing a portfolio for third party eligibility/recovery

Work with uninsured population w/Government programs, in a hospital setting.

Interview patients for third party linkages at hospital bedside

Knowledge of Medicaid and Indigent programs
