ROLE DESCRIPTION:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Telemarketer to join our team. As a Telemarketer, you will play a crucial role in expanding our client base and promoting our insurance products and services through outbound calls. This position offers flexibility in scheduling and provides an opportunity to gain valuable experience in the insurance industry.
We're seeking someone with a strong attention to detail, who is driven by goals, and is quick on the keyboard. Job duties will include gathering personal information and entering data regarding customer's home, auto, specialty vehicle, or commercial business to build a quote via inbound lead calls or conducting outbound calls.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead Generation, which may include
    • Telemarketing
    • Cold calling
    • Warm calling (calls to existing clients for cross-sell purposes)
  • Lead Validation, or call-backs (to validate information, and gather other needed information)
  • Lead Information Gathering and Organizing (by using provided quote sheet)
  • Using all received and gathered information to build quotes within company system (data entry).
  • Prepare quoted leads/prospects for sales staff within agency lead management system(s).
  • Maintenance and scheduling of online presence involving social media, search engines, websites, and physical placement advertisement like sponsorships, billboards, events, etc.
  • Any other possible administrative work and tasks directed and instructed by other tenured staff, management, supervisors, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • P&C Insurance License not required at hire, but will be required after probationary period (provided by Agency)
  • Bilingual is beneficial
  • Call center experience is beneficial.
  • Must be able to multitask multiple screens at once.
  • Be capable of handling customer rejection
  • Must be skilled at typing (30+ wpm)
  • Must be detailed oriented!
  • Must be 18 or older (background check will be performed)
  • Have no felonies
