Salary Range: $18,000 - $24,000 plus uncapped commission.

Summary:
Vector Security is hiring an Outside Sales Representative to drive growth across residential and small business markets. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional with a strong hunter mentality who enjoys building a pipeline, developing new business, and closing deals in the field.
You'll prospect and connect with homeowners and business owners, deliver tailored security and smart protection solutions, and manage the full sales cycle from first contact to close. Success in this role comes from proactive lead generation, strong relationship-building, and consistently exceeding sales targets in a performance-driven environment.

What You'll Do:
  • Responsible for selling Vector's residential solutions and achieving sales orders, RMR and unit targets.
  • Generates sales opportunities through cold calling, community involvement, creating community partners, and engaging exiting customers. Actively works assigned leads, documents the status, and maintains a high closing percentage.
  • Maintains in-depth product knowledge via ongoing training and required certifications.
  • Educate customers about Vector Security products and services.
  • Upholds relationships with clients to ensure they remain satisfied, that their questions are answered, and that their needs are met throughout the life of the customer.
  • Identifies ways to market products to new consumers, including identifying new target market segments/opportunities.

What You'll Need:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent - required. Bachelor's Degree - preferred.
  • Prospecting Skills:
    • In order to expand residential business, it is important that residential sales reps be able to build new relationships and generate new business for the company.
  • Selling/Customer Service Experience - preferred.
    • Sales reps needs to be able to interact with potential customers and demonstrate the value of Vector's products.
    • Demonstrated success in previous sales positions.
  • Closing Skills:
    • Must be able to close sales at a rate deemed acceptable by management to meet performance levels.
    • Must be able to overcome objections and have strong negotiation skills.
  • Valid Driver's License
