• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental and emotional health to guide treatment approaches.
• Formulate individualized treatment plans by evaluating client needs, issues, and goals, ensuring a tailored approach to therapy.
• Deliver engaging individual therapy sessions for clients of various ages, addressing a multitude of mental health concerns.
• Facilitate couples therapy sessions aimed at enhancing communication skills, conflict resolution, and relationship strengthening.
• Maintain accurate client documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, following best practices for telehealth compliance.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
• Stay current with developments in marriage and family therapy, participating in continuous education and training.
• Advocate for clients, empowering them through informed decision-making about their treatment options.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies for clients experiencing acute distress, demonstrating immediate support and care.
• Utilize teletherapy platforms effectively to create a secure and confidential environment for client sessions.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Archbold Psychiatric Services, you will be working with a diverse clientele, including adolescents, adults, and couples. Your expertise will be pivotal in guiding them through various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and family challenges. You will engage with clients in a compassionate and supportive manner, tailoring your therapies to meet their unique needs and circumstances.

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is required.
• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Tennessee.
• Demonstrable experience providing both individual and couples therapy.
• Strong assessment skills with the ability to complete thorough evaluations and documentation in a timely manner.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with proficiency in using electronic health record systems.

• Experience working with various age groups, including both children and adults.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote counseling best practices.
• A proactive approach to participating in clinical supervision and peer collaboration.
