StrongMynd Plus Support, Inc. is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists to join our team in Austin, Texas. This is a full-time remote position that offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 105,000 per year. This position operates within an outpatient clinic setting, allowing for a dynamic and engaging work experience. As a remote team member, you’ll have the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions from your own designated space, ensuring a comfortable environment for both you and your clients. The team is cohesive and supportive, utilizing technology to facilitate communication, case collaboration, and ongoing professional development.

• Conduct individual in-home treatment sessions and group therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of clients.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques to emphasize skills in anger management, coping strategies, and social interaction to mitigate high-risk behaviors such as self-injury and physical aggression.
• Support caregivers in enhancing their decision-making skills to effectively address behavioral challenges at home.
• Collaborate regularly with the Child Family Treatment Team and other interdisciplinary professionals to provide holistic care for the child and their family.
• Maintain timely and thorough documentation including intake evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with organizational standards.
• Participate in case discussions, staff meetings, and training sessions to promote continuous improvement in treatment strategies.

This role focuses on serving a diverse group of youngsters aged 3-20 years with varying degrees of developmental and intellectual disabilities. Many of these children are faced with significant challenges in their daily lives. As a therapist, you will provide the necessary support and therapy to help them navigate these challenges and improve their family dynamics.

• Master's degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related field.
• A valid, unrestricted License as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A minimum availability of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours (4-7 pm) is preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a registered vehicle.
• Completion of a thorough criminal background check, including fingerprinting.

• Experience working with children and adolescents, particularly those with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).
• Background in positive behavior support strategies and techniques.
• Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is highly desirable to effectively communicate with a wider range of clients and their families.
