Hopeful Response Group Healthcare Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Remote Mental Health Counselor to provide high-quality mental health support to cancer patients. As a vital member of our team, you will utilize your expertise as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to facilitate therapeutic interventions and enhance patient outcomes. In a digital-first healthcare model, you will utilize telehealth platforms and other innovative technologies to connect with patients and deliver care efficiently.

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate the emotional and mental health needs of patients and their caregivers.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices, tailored to individual patient needs.
• Facilitate support groups, educational workshops, and therapeutic interventions aimed at enhancing quality of life and coping strategies for patients and families dealing with cancer.
• Integrate findings from the latest mental health research into practice to ensure high standards of care and treatment efficacy.
• Maintain comprehensive and confidential records, adhering to ethical guidelines and legal standards relevant to mental health practices.
• Collaborate with medical professionals, oncologists, and other specialists to provide a holistic support network for patients.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, enhancing skills and knowledge through continuing education and training opportunities.

Our focus is primarily on cancer patients navigating their journey through diagnoses, treatment, recurrence, survivorship, and end-of-life preparations. You will work closely with individuals and families to provide the necessary emotional and psychological support, enabling them to cope with their experiences effectively. Your role will also extend to caregivers who play a vital role in the patient's journey, addressing their mental health needs alongside those of the patients.

• Masters degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
• No history of medical malpractice claims, verified by a third party.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.

• Previous experience working with cancer patients or individuals facing chronic illnesses is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with telehealth technologies and remote counseling platforms.
• Experience in facilitating group therapy sessions or workshops related to mental health.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload management.
