Job Title: Clinical Research Coordinator
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Research Coordinator to assist with study coordination and recruitment for investigator-initiated studies, multi-center research studies, and patient-oriented clinical and translational research projects within a specific division. You will work under close supervision and directly collaborate with study physicians, research coordinators, project managers, and other research staff.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient recruitment and enrollment.
- Screen participants and conduct consenting visits.
- Process and ship laboratory samples.
- Enter data into databases accurately.
- Escort participants to other testing or procedure areas.
- Help advance the research mission of the division and university.
Essential Skills
- Clinical research experience.
- Experience with patient enrollment and recruitment.
- Chart review and data entry proficiency.
- Pre-screening patients.
- Good Clinical Practice (GCP) knowledge.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 1-2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Work Environment
The work environment offers flexibility with the opportunity to work from home. The first week is on-site, transitioning to one day of remote work in the first four months. After this period, two days of remote work are possible as long as it does not interfere with responsibilities. The division supports a diverse and large team, valuing integrated research efforts. It is recognized for its contribution to high-profile studies related to movement disorders, including Parkinson’s disease. Located near the center city with accessible public transportation options such as PATCO and SEPTA, and parking available at a daily rate.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Philadelphia, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
