Responsibilities

Household Management

  • Oversee the day-to-day needs of the household.
  • Identify tasks that need to be completed and take initiative to address them.
  • Order and restock household, cleaning, and other necessary supplies.
  • Run errands and grocery shopping as requested.
  • Coordinate returns, deliveries, pickups, and other household-related errands.
  • Keep the homeowner informed of household needs and upcoming tasks.

Meal Preparation

  • Prepare simple, healthy meals and snacks according to the homeowner’s preferences.
  • Plan meals and create grocery lists when requested.
  • Grocery shop and ensure appropriate food and household items are stocked.
  • Maintain an organized and clean kitchen.

Light Cleaning & Home Organization

  • Perform light housekeeping to help maintain a clean and comfortable home.
  • Tidy common areas and maintain household organization.
  • Provide light cleaning of bathrooms, kitchens, and other areas as needed.
  • Organize closets, cabinets, drawers, pantries, and other areas when requested.
  • Help create systems that make the home easier to maintain and function efficiently.

Errands & Personal Assistance

  • Complete household errands and pickups.
  • Coordinate deliveries and service appointments.
  • Assist with miscellaneous household tasks and projects.
  • Help homeowners stay on top of appointments, tasks, and household responsibilities when appropriate.

Vendor & Service Coordination

  • Help coordinate household projects from start to finish.
  • Assist the homeowner with gathering estimates and scheduling vendors.
  • Help organize project timelines and details.
  • Track progress and communicate updates.
  • Identify issues or additional needs that arise during a project and bring them to the homeowner’s attention.

Expense Management

  • Keep accurate records of household-related expenses.
  • Track receipts and purchases.
  • Communicate expenses to the homeowner in a timely manner.
  • Maintain organized documentation for household purchases and services.
  • Obtain approval from the homeowner for larger or unexpected expenses when appropriate.
