What is an at home locksmith dispatcher?

An At Home Locksmith Dispatcher is a professional who coordinates locksmith services from a remote location, often their own home. They handle incoming calls, assess customer needs, and dispatch locksmith technicians to various locations for lockouts, repairs, or installations. These dispatchers are responsible for maintaining communication between clients and field technicians, ensuring timely and efficient service. They may also manage scheduling, provide quotes, and handle basic administrative tasks related to locksmith operations.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an at home locksmith dispatcher?

To thrive as an At Home Locksmith Dispatcher, you need strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience in customer service or dispatch roles, often supported by a high school diploma. Familiarity with dispatching software, GPS tracking systems, and basic office applications is typically required. Excellent communication, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to stay calm under pressure help you manage urgent calls and coordinate effectively with locksmith technicians. About Us

We are a growing Pittsburgh-area locksmith company built from the ground up with a strong reputation for emergency locksmith services.

Join a Growing Pittsburgh Locksmith Company

We are looking for a confident, articulate, and motivated Sales & Dispatch Specialist to join our growing locksmith team.

This is an in-office sales and operations role where you'll work directly with customers and technicians to help close service calls, coordinate jobs, handle pricing questions, and keep the operation moving.

  • Monitor multiple jobs and priorities at the same time
  • Assist with basic office locksmith tasks when needed
  • Help identify opportunities for future commercial accounts

  • Positive and respectful
  • Dependable and punctual
  • Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Problem solver who can think on their feet
  • Comfortable handling customer objections
  • Willing and able to learn a new industry
  • Takes ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do

We're open to candidates at different stages of their careers. What matters most is your work ethic, communication skills, reliability, positive attitude, ability to solve problems, and willingness to learn. Locksmith experience is not required—we're willing to train the right person who has the right attitude and aptitude.

Previous experience in sales, customer service, dispatch, call centers, automotive, or home services is a plus, but it is not required.

What We Offer
