Greencroft at Home – Goshen, IN

Greencroft at Home is looking for a compassionate and dependable PRN Home Care Attendant to help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. This is a meaningful opportunity to provide personalized, one-on-one support while building trusting relationships with clients and their families.

Schedule: PRN/As Needed – May include daytime, evening, weekend, and overnight hours.

As a Home Care Attendant, you will:

  • Follow each client’s individualized Plan of Care while protecting their rights, privacy, and dignity.

  • Assist with daily activities such as bathing, personal hygiene, dressing, toileting, and mobility.

  • Safely assist with transfers and use required safety equipment, including gait belts.

  • Provide medication reminders as directed; this position does not administer medications.

  • Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping, laundry, shopping, and errands.

  • Offer companionship and respond calmly and respectfully to clients, families, and team members.

  • Observe and report changes in a client’s behavior, skin, nutrition, or overall well-being.

  • Complete accurate documentation for all care provided.

  • Accompany clients using Greencroft Transportation when included in the Plan of Care.

  • Visit multiple client homes during a shift when needed.

  • Respond to client needs during overnight assignments, which may or may not provide an opportunity to sleep.

What You Bring

  • Must be at least 18 years old.

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

  • CNA or Certified Home Health Aide certification preferred but not required.

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written care instructions.

  • A dependable, patient, and caring approach to supporting older adults.

  • Ability to work independently and respond appropriately during emergencies.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
