Job description

For more than 100 years, St. Luke's in the Desert, a program of Catholic Community Services of Southern Arizona, has been dedicated to providing compassionate care and a welcoming community for older adults. Our team members make a difference every day by helping residents feel valued, respected, and at home.

When you join St. Luke's Home, you'll become part of a mission-driven team committed to serving others with dignity, kindness, and excellence.

Our Care Partners do more than provide care - they build meaningful relationships, create moments of comfort, and help our residents feel safe, respected, and at home. If you're compassionate, dependable, and enjoy working as part of a supportive team, we'd love to meet you!

What You'll Do

As a Care Partner, you'll play an essential role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by:

  • Provide compassionate, person-centered care that helps residents feel safe, respected, and at home
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, medication support, meals, and daily routines
  • Monitor resident well-being, communicate changes, and maintain accurate documentation
  • Foster a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, families, and team members
  • Collaborate with coworkers while following community policies and state regulations
  • Make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults every day
What You Bring

We're looking for someone who is compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional care.

Required Qualifications
  • Current Arizona Caregiver Certification
  • Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification (we can help!)
  • Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Documentation of TB clearance (two-step testing may be required)
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • A genuine passion for working with older adults and contributing to a collaborative team

The above statement reflects the general duties considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job as identified and shall not be considered a detailed description of all work requirements that may be inherent in the job.

We are an Affirmative Action Equal Opportunity Employer for all individuals. All qualified applicants are encouraged to apply.
