Job Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth patient evaluations that include physical examinations and thorough reviews of medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and lab results
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans for patients
• Provide intraoperative support, preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper positioning, and handing over surgical instruments during procedures
• Offer outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, which includes administering medications, managing wound care, planning discharges, and educating patients

Educational Background

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a surgical emphasis is highly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
