Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Read work orders and follow production drawings or instructions.
- Assemble and secure parts using hand tools and fixtures.
- Perform intermediate tasks such as potting, sanding, or color coding.
- Inspect parts using basic testing methods.
- Handle and install finished assemblies into enclosures.
- Uphold Positronicโs standards of integrity, quality, and operational excellence.
- Identify hazards in the workplace and report them to management and/or the safety coordinator.
- Collaborate with the EHS department to meet local, state, and federal regulatory requirements, including OSHA, NFPA, DNR, EPA, and Amphenol sustainability practices.
- Work with the Quality department to ensure compliance with AS9100 certification standards.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
RequirementsEducation and Experience- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1 to 3 months of experience or training.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must pass appropriate testing to advance in the ABC program.
Physical- Frequent sitting, walking, and standing.
- Occasional bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
- Constant lifting of 0โ20 lbs; occasional up to 40 lbs; rare up to 50 lbs.
- High level of hand and finger dexterity.
- Constant use of hands and arms for technical work.
- PPE includes safety glasses, nitrile and heat-resistant gloves as needed.
Working Conditions: Work is performed in production zone with frequent exposure to loud machines and nitrogen-based chemicals.
Shift: Weekend shift (Saturday-Monday 7:00am-7:30pm)
Knowledge- Knowledge of English language rules, spelling, and grammar for reading instructions.
- Understanding of machines and tools used in basic assembly.
- Familiarity with production processes and quality standards.
