About Our Customer

A leading retailer dedicated to providing pet parents with high-quality products, services, and solutions to ensure the health and happiness of their pets. Known for its focus on pet wellness, sustainability, and community involvement, our customer strives to make a positive impact on pets and their owners. They are currently seeking a Site Coordinator for their distribution center.

Hourly Rate: $19.00

Weekend Shift: Saturday – Sunday, 6:00 AM – 3:30:00 PM, Weekends as needed

What You'll Do

  • Train and supervise housekeeping staff in proper cleaning techniques and equipment operation.
  • Create and manage housekeeping work schedules to meet the clients expectations.
  • Perform routine inspection of housekeeping performance to meet the clients expectations.
  • Serve as a client liaison for new work orders and special projects, coordinating staffing as needed.
  • Ensure that housekeeping staff follow appropriate safety guidelines for chemical and equipment usage.
  • Ensure that cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked.
  • Modify scope of cleaning and maintenance based on specified needs of the client.
  • Recruit and hire housekeeping staff, in coordination with the Recruiting Specialist.
  • Ensure labor hours are accurately reported in the companys timekeeping system.
  • Conduct performance evaluations.
  • Perform cleaning, housekeeping, and light maintenance tasks and services throughout assigned worksite as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

What You Need to Qualify

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Some Spanish is preferred
  • Handyman experience a plus.
  • Previous experience in recruiting is a plus.
  • Minimum three years previous experience in supervision (housekeeping preferred).
  • Previous experience with housekeeping, various chemical usage, and floor scrubbers.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other computer software.
  • Experience reviewing time clock entries in HRIS a plus.
  • Good interpersonal skills with a polite demeanor toward staff and clients.

What Physical Activities Will You Do?

  • Constant (80%) standing and walking during workday.
  • Frequent (50%) pushing, pulling, grasping, stretching, bending, twisting, reaching overhead.
  • Occasional (30%) stooping, climbing, and squeezing.
  • Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 25 lbs.
