DescriptionWhat we are looking for:
- Working towards a degree in one of the preferred major categories listed below AND must be either Junior or Senior status, within 1 year of their expected graduation date, or within 3 months of degree completion.
Preferred Majors:
- Electrical Engineering
- Manufacturing Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
- Quality Engineering
- IT Operations Engineering
- Software Engineering
Responsibilities- Gain knowledge and experience in engineering field of study by shadowing and learning from professionals.
- Apply electronic and electrical engineering principles, other engineering disciplines, analysis, validation, support of system, equipment, and wiring.
- Assist in a wide variety of tasks within the Engineering Department in a production environment.
- Have the opportunity to display critical thinking skills to expand your career and education in Smart Manufacturing.
Qualifications- Must have excellent communication skills including written (email correspondence, report writing, etc.) as well as formal and informal presentation skills.
- A basic understanding of process flow, process design, and manufacturing principles.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite products (ex. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

What does an internship at Foxconn look like:
- Internships fall in line with a semester (ex. Fall, Spring, or Summer), and are limited to a cumulative total of 12 months' maximum (no more than a 6-month continuous period).
- All internships are fully on-site for hands on experience.
- Work hours will be scheduled around class schedule and availability for approximately 28 hours/week (subject to change based on course load).
