As a vital member of our team at Bay Motion PT, the Occupational Therapist (OT) is responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing therapeutic interventions tailored to meet the individual needs of our patients. This role is performed onsite at our Early Interventional Center, where our team works collaboratively to support a diverse patient population. The facility is designed to create a welcoming atmosphere conducive to therapy and rehabilitation, and our staff is equipped with modern tools and resources necessary for effective therapy delivery. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical and emotional needs to develop personalized treatment plans that align with evidence-based practices in Occupational Therapy.
• Implement and monitor therapeutic interventions, ensuring they are appropriate for the patient's condition and progress. This may include activities of daily living, motor skills development, and social interaction techniques.
• Document patient progress through detailed reports and regular assessments to inform team discussions and adjustments to treatment plans.
• Engage in collaborative meetings with healthcare providers, families, and external agencies to facilitate effective discharge planning and follow-up care.
• Participate in department quality assessment initiatives, contributing ideas for improvement and innovation in therapy delivery.
• Attend continuous education sessions, departmental meetings, and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

• A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program is required.
• A valid license to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Florida.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience as an Occupational Therapist is preferred, with a strong understanding of individual treatment strategies.
• Experience working with patient populations in Hematology-Oncology or Pulmonology is a plus.
• Previous involvement in interdisciplinary team settings that emphasize collaborative patient care will be advantageous.
