Job description

WHY JOIN ALO?
Mindful movement. It's at the core of why we do what we do at ALO-it's our calling. Because mindful movement in the studio leads to better living. It changes who yogis are off the mat, making their lives and their communities better. That's the real meaning of studio-to-street: taking the consciousness from practice on the mat and putting it into practice in life.
OVERVIEW
As the Assistant Buyer for the APAC Division, you will report to the International Buyer and support the day-to-day execution of the APAC business. This role is highly cross-functional and focused on assisting with reporting, data analysis, and operational tasks to ensure the team is set up for success. You will help support the APAC market by maintaining reports, tracking inventory, and assisting with pricing and assortment setup. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to international buying, develop a strong understanding of the APAC retail landscape, and grow within a fast-paced, global organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support the preparation of weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports for the APAC business.
• Assist in tracking inventory levels across APAC stores and e-commerce channels.
• Assist the Sr. Buyer with seasonal buy preparation and data organization.
• Monitor and track shipment status and warehouse ETAs.
• Help identify and communicate any delays or risks related to product deliveries.
• Support basic sales analysis (in-season and post-season) and help compile insights for the team.
• Attend team meetings and take notes, tracking follow-ups and action items related to the APAC business.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Planning, Allocations, Merchandising, Marketing, Production) to help execute day-to-day tasks.
• Assist in preparing presentations and recaps for internal meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS
• BA or BS preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience or relevant internships in merchandising, buying, planning, or retail.
• Strong interest in international business; prior exposure is a plus but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working with data and learning new systems.
• Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take direction.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
The base salary range for this position is $70,000-$80,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position.
