These jobs can involve research, data analysis, telescope observations, and computational modeling. Positions may be found in academia, space agencies, observatories, or private aerospace companies. Common roles include astronomers, astrophysicists, and aerospace engineers working on space exploration and satellite technology.

What are the typical daily responsibilities of an astro?

On a typical day, an Astro (Astronomer) may analyze data gathered from telescopes or satellites, develop and test computational models, and interpret findings to advance scientific understanding of space phenomena. Depending on the project, you might also write research papers, present at conferences, or collaborate with other scientists and institutions. Many astronomers split their time between observing (either on-site at observatories or remotely) and working in office or laboratory settings.
