Job description

At Amarr, part of ASSA ABLOY - the global leader in opening solutions, we strive to be the best. And to be the best, we have to provide the best quality, the best service, and employ the best people. We have a warehouse associate opening in Elkridge, MD and are looking for the best to join our team. 

This is a physically demanding job with consistent heavy lifting in a non-climate controlled environment. Please only apply if you are comfortable working in those conditions. 

We are looking for someone who: 

  • Is a motivated, hard worker 

  • Is not afraid of heavy lifting 

  • Is always treating our customers the way they deserve to be treated 

  • Believes in working together as a team and doing what needs to be done 

  • Will be with us for the long haul 

In this position you will: 

  • Unload and inspect incoming product (this can be between 50-75lb) mostly by hand 

  • Pull, stage, and load product for customers, while providing excellent service 

  • Provide deliveries in a 26' box truck as needed 

  • Assist with inventory and damage control 

Requirements and Qualifications: 

  • Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's license, with at least one year of driving experience 

  • Requires heavy repetitive lifting (50-75lb) and constant movement 

  • Must be able to pass all DOT requirements, including physical, background screening, and a MVR that must meet Amarr driver standards 

  • Must be able to read and speak English per DOT guidelines 

  • Demonstrated history of steady employment 

The Details: 

This position is full-time Monday - Friday from 7a-3:30p with the occasional overtime. The pay rate is$22-27/hrbased on, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications. Addition compensation can include driving bonuses and target bonuses.
