Catering Sales Manager

We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Catering Sales Manager to join our team at our newly renovated full-service hotel. This role is responsible for driving catering and banquet revenue through proactive sales efforts, exceptional client relationships, and flawless event execution.

The ideal candidate is a hospitality professional who thrives on creating memorable experiences, building lasting partnerships, and exceeding revenue goals.

Position Overview

The Catering Sales Manager is responsible for selling, planning, and coordinating meetings, social events, and catered functions at the hotel. This position works closely with operations teams to ensure each event is executed seamlessly while delivering exceptional service to clients and guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively solicit and secure catering business including corporate meetings, social events, weddings, and group functions
• Manage the full sales cycle from inquiry to event execution and post-event follow-up
• Prepare proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders (BEOs)
• Conduct site tours and client meetings to showcase the hotel’s meeting and event spaces
• Partner with the culinary, banquet, and operations teams to ensure successful event execution
• Maintain strong relationships with new and repeat clients to generate ongoing business
• Achieve and exceed catering revenue goals
• Participate in networking events and community outreach to promote the hotel
• Accurately forecast revenue and maintain sales activity in the CRM system

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of catering sales or hotel sales experience preferred
• Experience working in a full-service hotel or conference/event venue
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Proven ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously
• Experience with hotel sales systems such as Delphi, CI/TY, or similar platforms is preferred
