POSITION SUMMARY:
The Marketing Associate is responsible for the development, planning, support, and implementation of marketing projects and activities for the Westlake group of companies. He/She coordinates and leads marketing projects, activities, and initiatives for the departments and divisions within the organization to ensure that the company has a consistent and powerful message and a strong brand. The Marketing Associate will be required to think strategically when planning and executing marketing projects and deliverables. The ideal candidate is an ambitious individual with strong attention to detail, creative thinking, and writing skills. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is highly desirable. Experience working on digital and traditional marketing projects is desired. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and hit target deadlines is a must. The Marketing Associate reports to the Marketing Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collaboratively work with a diverse team to create and manage cross-organizational and integrated marketing communication pieces.
  • Strategize, manage and coordinate projects with management, vendors, and contractors for the development and production of sales communication, events, promotional materials, website content/creative, and other projects.
  • Provide writing and editing support for all outbound communications including all press releases, promotional materials, website content, and monthly newsletters.
  • Creative thinker with background in graphic design and video editing.
  • Review and edit existing promotional materials for marketing effectiveness and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Plan, manage, coordinate marketing and sales division events.
  • Manage and update all communication portals.
  • Success and comfort working in a fast-paced, roll-up-your-sleeves environment (on-site position only - No remote work).

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & LICENSES:
  • Requires excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Intermediate+ Word/PowerPoint/Excel knowledge.
  • Ability to effectively work under tight deadlines and manage projects independently.
