Job Summary:
The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and executing all outbound shipping activities, ensuring orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards and international shipping regulations. This role supports domestic, international, and freight shipments, provides shipping-related customer service, and maintains a safe, organized warehouse environment while delivering exceptional service to clients and internal stakeholders.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Create and process shipments, shipping labels, and bills of lading through various parcel and freight carriers, including Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) and Truckload (TL) shipments.
- Coordinate shipping for both in-house and third-party orders and requests.
- Ensure all outgoing shipments are packed accurately, securely, and according to company specifications and DOT/IATA regulations
- Process shipping quotes for domestic, international, and freight shipments.
- Batch upload and print shipping labels for drop-shipment and fulfillment orders.
- Ensure security and proper handling of products and materials to maintain shipment accuracy.
- Prepare and verify all required documentation for international shipments.
- Ensure compliance with export and import regulations
- Work proactively to resolve international shipping issues and ensure successful deliveries.
- Fulfill customer orders across multiple e-commerce platforms.
- Verify order accuracy and shipment details prior to dispatch.
- Provide customer service and assist internal teams with domestic shipment inquiries and solutions.
- Provide timely and professional support for shipping-related inquiries.
- Meet established shipping deadlines and service-level expectations.
- Must comply to company safety and OSHA standards
- Ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time
- Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
- Experience in shipping, logistics, warehouse operations, order fulfillment, or a related field preferred.
- Experience with parcel carriers such as UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL, and freight carriers.
- Knowledge of domestic and international shipping processes and documentation.
- Familiarity with e-commerce order fulfillment platforms and shipping software.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to work in a warehouse and shipping environment.
