On-Site role

Job Description:

  • System Integration and Test Engineer.
  • Systems Integration and Test team at client is responsible for ensuring robust system performance for vehicle centric systems in Motion, Body and EE Architecture domains.
  • The team is also responsible for investigating vehicle system integration issues found during testing and service operations.
  • You will leverage your deep expertise in electric vehicle development, systems engineering, and hands-on testing to drive end-to-end integration of our complex vehicle platform.
  • Your work will be critical in ensuring world class reliability for our Robotaxi Service Operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct integration testing at HIL Test Bench and vehicle levels to characterize system performance under nominal and off-nominal conditions.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify integration risks and work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to mitigate the impact on the program and milestones.
  • Identify potential improvements in system behavior, controls and diagnostics monitors.
  • Create and maintain documentation to track progress using tools like JIRA and Confluence.
  • Drive issue resolution for complex system integration problems found during vehicle testing and fleet service operations.

Qualifications:

  • BS or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related disciplines.
  • Experience: 6 to 8 years in vehicle system development and testing roles.
  • Experience with vehicle electrical architecture and automotive communication protocols like CAN, LIN and Ethernet.
  • Experience with Instrumentation and Data Acquisition Tools like Vector CanAlyzer, ETAS INCA, Intrepid, CSM etc.).
  • Hands-on electrical troubleshooting skills (DMM, Oscilloscope, electrical schematics, Saleae Logic Analyzer etc.).
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Experience with real time embedded control system development.
  • Experience conducting testing in xIL Environment.
  • Experience with Grafana and other data analysis toolsets.
